Why have we launched Vitamin C Liposomal?

As I work with so many children as a nutritionist, I’ve been searching for a nice tasting yet clean Vitamin C supplement for children for many years. I’ve looked at all sorts of options such as gummies, chewables etc, but they were just full of nasties. I’ve finally found a product I’m delighted with and that is suitable for all the family!

The product is a liposomal liquid, with natural blackcurrant and vanilla flavouring.

This product is vegan. It’s allergen, gluten, soy, nut, egg & corn free. It contains no added sugar or colouring. Flavours are derived from natural extracts.

What is a liposomal supplement?

Studies show that liposomal supplements have increased absorption and bioavailability to standard supplements.

Liposomes are made from the same material as our cell membranes, so the Vitamin C can be absorbed easily straight into our cells.

As the Vitamin C is surrounded by liposomes, it is protected from interacting with compounds in the stomach and intestinal environment, such as enzymes, bacteria, medications, or digestive factors. This allows the Vitamin C to be safely delivered to the cells.

Why is Vitamin C important?

We don’t make vitamin C in the body and it can be hard to get enough from the diet as it’s is easily destroyed by prolonged storage and cooking.

As long as it’s kept in the fridge, once opened, it is best to consume your product within 3 months.  However it will retain stability for up to 12 months .

This product is suitable for children aged 2 and over, and also for adults.
